 Monday

P-Day!!!
Very good day! We got all the laundry and cleaning done first thing in the morning! We went grocery shopping and got all the goods. For our district activity we played pickle ball. I suck at pickle ball. like real bad. but it was a good day!

Tuesday
Weekly Planning!
We volunteered at the thrift store again! so fun we folded a whole bunch of kid clothes. The infant onesies are so cute! Sister Waite is our Zone tech rep, so she has got a bunch of zoom meetings, which means that I get to have extra studies some days! That has been cool. comp council or as we like to refer to it, compa chonga!!! we went and got boba! so yummy!

Wednesday
Waffle wednesday!!! I get to partake now and that is super exciting! We had Larry and Ashlynn show up for Institute, which means we get to stay for the class! After the class we had a great lesson with them! They had so many questions about all of th eLaws and Commandments that God has given us. They are not so sure about them but said they would come to church!

Thursday
Day 1 of a whole lot of walking. We don't have very many people talking to us let alone lessons so we go findding! This is so difficult. Talking to strangers is so hard. but we found a couple people! We had lunch with CC again! She is such a good cook! Tony is a member from Santa Rosa but works here in SLO, he reached out and said we should stop by his work and get free sandwiches! He works at Jersey Mike's and let me tell you the best sandwich ever! Their gluten free bread is 10/10!

Friday
We had our mission Friday Zoom, good stuff. I like that we all meet together, even if it is only over zoom. we had a lot of finding time this day too, so ya walk day part 2. This was honestly a super hard day. super discouraging. me and Sister Waite are both pretty quiet, talking to people is rough. We had been walking for maybe an hour and we had found no one. Trying to talk to people was killing me. I kept getting in my head. I would see someone and think I should talk to them and then I wouldn't, I couldn't, I would just watch them walk past me. I felt like a failure. I couldn't do this simple thing, I felt I was letting Sister Waite down and God. We walked in silence for a while as I was beating myself up inside. I suddenly turned to her determined to break our silence and asked her to tell me what she was thinking. Let's just say she wasn't super thrilled to so I said I would go first, and I told her everything. I spilled out all my insecurities. I told her everything I was thinking. I turned to her and said okay Sister Waite your turn. and guess what, she was thinking the exact same things. honestly never felt more unified with her. I wasn't struggling alone i had her in the exact same boat as me. and then a miracle was given to us. as we kept walking i recalled a meeting i was in where someone had said that when contacting in public and you see some you feel you should talk to and you are far too nervous ask your companion to. ad folks that is what we did. we made game of it, i would see some and i would tell her “that one”, and she would talk to them, then it was her turn to find someone for me, we had three cop outs ya know just for safety and nerve and such. we found 3 people in 20 minutes! God is good. We are figuring it out. There is a reason God has placed us together and we are going to figure this whole thing out.

Saturday
part 3 of the long walk
A whole ton of lessons and none of them went through so big bummer. so we walked. Cal Polly campus has nothing on me. The rodeo is in town, well in the football field I should say. and yes you would be correct they literally turn the football field into a radio stadium! large tarps and trucks full of dirt in 1 day they turned it into a stadium! There were so many people it was crazy. The rodeo was going from Thursday till Saturday. I can't wait to go to one when I'm home! Seeing everyone walking around all dressed up was so fun! Makes me wonder how many college kids bought a cowboy hat just for this, lol. I need to get me a pair, I want to look cool too!

Sunday
love love love sundays and not just cuz its so close to monday, lol. Fast Sundays are tough! Oh man, it's cool to think that when I am fasting it's a sacrifice on top of a sacrifice. Being in the field and hungry is hard work, but the reward at the end is stunning. lots of meetings today, a ton so we didn't have hardly any time to find. We had a mission zoom and it was so good we talked about prayer. It's honestly so cool how we can talk to our heavenly father, and on top of that we can communicate absolutely whenever we need and want!
