Slaying the Day as a California Bae: Monday, March 2, 2026: The One Where She's Cries a Lot

Crazy first two weeks!!!

I can't belive this is real life, I am a real life Missionary. Crazy.

First transfer! I am assigned to serve in SLOW! I'm in the YSA ward which is so fun! My companion and trainer is Sister Cox, she has been an absolute blessing.

We spend a lot of our time at the Institute and on campus at Cal Ploy. It's so pretty! The trees are so pretty and there are so many different kinds!

The ward here is so amazing. Bishop Ririe is so loving and kind! The members are so great, lots of meals in my future!

First week in the field was rough, the adjustment was not fun. Many many tears, but God is good, and she made it to week two!

The second week definitely was a blessing, life got way better! We met so many friends and the sun finally started to shine. First week was actually pretty chilly and this week we finally made it up to the low eightys. I did get just a tad sunkissed.

We met our friend Izzy earlier this week and she is going to get baptized later this month! She is so cool, she came to church with a friend and she came away feeling how much God loves us, we as individuals are so important to Him!

Im optimistic, the sun is shining and the days are long but good!

P-day today was so fun, we went thrifting and had In-N-Out for lunch! Such a good day!
