Slaying the Day as a California Bae: Monday, March 16, 2026: The One Where She Visits a Freaking Castle

What a week!

Last Monday we played volleyball as a district, pretty fun. Except when the ball got spiked into my face, lol.

Tuesday was Zone Conference!!! It was so fun to see so many missionaries! President and Sister Rodriguez love us so much! Food was pretty good too!

After Zone Conference we had a lesson with Susie! She is so amazing, such a strong and loving person! She accepted the invitation to be baptized which is so cool, unfortunately she isn't YSA so we have to pass her over to the Elders. We ran into her today at Hearst Castle which was so cool.

We have been driving to Cayucos a lot recently and we have just been witness to some absolute stunning sunsets. So pretty. There is a park right off of the beach that we study at sometimes. If you stand on the top of the table right next to the fence you can see the entire coastline. So beautiful.

Exchanges!!! I got to have Hermana Lindberg spend the day with me! She was so fun to be with! 10/10

Saturday started good and ended not so good. After lunch I started getting really sick and I ended up throwing up, big bummer. Costco ice cream really did me dirty. Be careful out there Costco lovers.

Sunday was good, I was feeling better, loads better. Izzy came to church! She got hurt while playing volleyball and got a priesthood blessing, so cool!

Today we went to Hearst Castle, it is so insane! It's this beautiful mansion hidden up on a hill. It's filled with so much art and the architecture is absolutely insane!!!

This week went by so quick. The days are hard but I love the people!
